Jeep Wrangler TJ - the All Terain Vehicle

The Jeep Wrangler is the classic SUV in the model program of the Chrysler subsidiary. The successor of the original Jeep CJ, then the Jeep YJ, the Jeep Wrangler TJ was available starting 1987.

The second generation of the Jeep Wrangler (TJ) was produced 1997 as the successor of the Jeep Wrangler (YJ). The Jeep Wrangler was designed as an SUV with a soft-top. The engine was available in 2.4 - 4.0 liter versions. (143 - 177 hp). The last Jeep Wrangler was produced in the year 2006.

You have to keep in mind that that the TJ version was built and delivered with different wheelbases.

It was available with a short wheelbase (2372 mm) and a long wheelbase (2945 mm). This provided for an exceptional all terain capability putting the Jeep in the top league again and again in various comparisons with other SUVs and all terain vehicles.
